About me

Last updated: 5 November 2026

I’m Alejandro Berdonces and I write 18vlab from Barcelona.

I built this site to answer a question almost everyone has when buying their first cordless tool: which brand to choose, knowing that battery will decide every purchase after it.

I’m not a building professional. My job here is to gather and organise the information: spec sheets, catalogues, and the opinions of people who use these tools every day. When I’ve tested something myself, I say so; when I haven’t, I say that too.

You can see how I work in how I compare.
